Her debut was a masterpiece hybrid of trip hop and pop, but in a way her sophomore album surpasses it. It's a much darker affair and for me the songs are deeper and if possible even more heart breaking than her debut. Nelson was criminally under rated but I always keep my eyes peeled for a comeback.
Debut solo album from UK/Egyptian singer Roba, best known as the lead singer of 90s Trip Hop band Attica Blues.
Her best album...period. Fishermans Woman was also great but I still prefer this sound with her voice... I think her albums after these have just become easy listening pieces. I just want to shake her out of her lazy happiness. Give me a dark broody trip hop album next.
Absolutely delightful return for Dot, I really enjoyed the last album she did but this one is fuller and held me captivated from start to finish...best on headphones out in nature.
This is a terrific album, critics got it right... I don't understand the low user score? Is Iggy the latest victim in cancel culture for some reason?
