I would have given this album maybe a 75 if there wasn’t SOOOO MANY SKITS. Every time I felt like I was getting into the album a skit or interlude came by and ruined it. Aside from that there is some incredible rapping on this, Big Pun really was amazing and a cut above the rest, I really wish we got to see how his skills would have evolved with more time. RIP
Seeing this gives me hope that Matt will stay consistent and be the star that he was always meant to be. I’m so so glad to see him collaborating with Deb Never, she deserves so much more recognition. As a duo they go beautifully together, keep going Matt ILY
As a fan of Boa for over a decade I’ve spent years wondering what a new album from them would sound like and I would have never guessed it would be so mellow and mature. After taking such a long hiatus most would think that you’d be rusty but no, they’ve only gotten better! I went to their show in NYC and had a chance to listen to some of the new songs live and I can tell you, Boa is here to stay. Absolutely beautiful!
Doechii is going to have a long and promising career and I can’t wait for it. Her flows and production are so unique and addicting. When she’s one of the biggest female rappers in the world one day I will be there!! Her skill and ear for catchy music is undeniable and is one of the most exciting artist out right now.
Its really hard to say if I'll be returning to alot of these tracks. There are some amazing tracks on here like of course "Goosebumps" and "Outside" but this album commits one of my biggest cardinal sins which is an album being carried by its production and nothing more. When I find myself just nodding my head but not absorbing anything being said theres a problem. Overall, its just okay, not Travis best effort for sure.
