This album is so fucking awesome. I don't usually like this type of rap but I'm genuinely blown away. The production is some of the most memorable I've heard this year, and while it took a bit for me to get used to, I really like the sound of Ashanti's voice. The lyricism on this album also shook me to my core, in a way that I haven't felt since my first listen of SAMIDOT by Kendrick Lamar. "Only Dust Remains" feels troubled yet elegant.

Great to close out the year for Primal Rights. Not as incredible as Lavender, but this EP was still really well produced and showed some different ways that Primal could bend his style.

Grew on me like crazy. While there are a few forgettable tracks on here, the amount of times this album made me feel like I was going to start floating was absurd. Digicore and shoegaze need to be combined more often.

Best TOP album for sure. This was that album for me that was the first that I discovered on my own when I was 10 and really helped shape my music taste. Even if I don't love some tracks as much as I did 6 and a half years ago, this is still a phenomenal album. The storytelling and production are absolutely on point.

Actually such an incredible EP. My Jane Remover glazing will never end but that's because it has no reason to.

Super fun and consistent rage project. Not a single miss across all 12 tracks, which is surprising considering how slayr branches into non-rage genres, such as R&B in "Phone Interlude" and rock in the second half of "Set In Stone." A few vocal melodies come off as a bit corny, but for the most part there are a bunch of catchy hooks and vibes on vibes. And I have to mention how slayr might have just hit the hardest flow state in HISTORY on "Never Go Down." Other ... read more
Does bleeod have rapping talent? No. Does he make some hypnotizing music that ends up being fun sometimes due to his bizarre vocal inflections? Absolutely.

One of the most consistently fun and well-produced rage albums to date. This would make a short list if I was trying to put someone on to rage, especially in the more melodic vein.

While inconsistent, Pink Tape is undoubtedly one of the most creative albums by a mainstream rapper ever.

Why is this actually good lol I used to watch this guy on YouTube when I was like 11
There's a lot of variety in sound across this project, which keeps it interesting despite Chris not being fully developed as a vocalist.

I can't lie and say that I found this to be an enjoyable project, but this has one of the most moving soundscapes I've heard in a while. It takes something seriously fucked up to happen for someone to make a project this raw and purely terrifying.
