One of the more fun listens I've had in a while. No misses on here, and I keep finding new favorites after each listen. It'll be hard to get this one out of my rotation.
Favorites: DOIT4ME, SAME LA (#1), START OVER, AMERICAN GIRL, FAREWELL TOLEDO
Least favorite: COPYCAT
This album feels super nostalgic to the 90s/00s rock that my mom used to play when I was younger, but in a charming 2020s way that only the digicore scene could bring. The balance between soft and dirty is very well done here. While inconsistent, the tracklist still contains plenty of phenomenal tracks.
Favorites: Defense, South, Comatose (#1), Family Means, Jophiel
Least favorite: Ache
Super unique and cool, sort of like a weirder and better take on the melodic stuff from Sayso Says
I feel like Che could have done better things with this vocal style, but this is still a nice EP (if you ignore that he dropped arguably a top 3 rage album of all time last year).
Favorites: Million Dollar Mansion, Promoting Violence
Least favorite: White Folk
Not a single miss. Definitely smokedope's best to date. He is absolutely in his own lane and it's really exciting to see.
Million Dollar Mansion - 88
Promoting Violence - 98
I've only listened to one other ezcodylee album (SAD3), but this is noticeably better than that project. Everything feels a lot more intentional here, as the quality level is raised, and genres are being blended to a higher degree. Even though he isn't one of my current absolute favorite artists, I'm calling it now that Cody will be one of the most respected and high-caliber artists in the next 5-ish years.

Beastboi could be making some of the most cutting-edge electronic music right now, but he tends towards an overdone and -- in my opinion -- unpleasant style on this album.
Favorites: DIRT PONY, INDUSTRY COPOUT VS. A SELF MADE GANGSTER (#1)
Least favorite: FEAR TECH
Without a doubt one of the most pivotal projects to come from this area of the underground. The hits of this album -- Dead First and Feel Like Uzi -- just scratch the surface of how many memorable tracks come from FunHouse. Even though there are a couple of weaker tracks like Quarters Pennies, the highs outweigh the lows by a staggering amount. When I first heard this album back in January of 2025, I could tell that prettifun was going to be someone to watch in the coming years, and he's ... read more
Did NOT expect this to actually be good wtf
Favorites: YAGA, LIV & MADDIE
Least favorite: TWINKERBELL
This might just be Thug's best project. An eighteen-track trap album from 2015 being loaded with this many great songs is INSANE.
Favorites: Take Kare, Best Friend, Calling Your Name (#1), Be Me See Me
Really promising project. Not everything about it is perfect but I'm really looking forward to where Zay goes next.
Favorites: Favorite Chop, 2010
Without a doubt one of my favorite EDM/Dubstep/etc albums of all time. Damn near every song on here goes hard as fuck.
Favorites: Simulation, Don't Worry, Exile, Back In Time (#1), Dreaming, This Could Be Us
Still bangs to this day, if not even harder than before due to how much nostalgic weight it carries.
Favorites: Init, With You, Lift Me Up (#1)
Least favorite: N/A
Nettspend still has some growing to do, but this is a huge step in the right direction.
Favorites: you ready, pain talk, trap house 2016, masked up, stab, paris hilton, plan b, make it bleed
Least favorites: crack, no sleep
Just met this guy at the Nobu Woods show after he opened for him. Really like the vibes on this. I feel like I'm gonna see him doing crazy numbers in a few years.
Took a few listens to click but this is a great EP to provide for the lack of material DC has dropped since one of my seven 100-rated albums, "REBIRTH." Even though a couple songs on here are forgettable, none are misses, and they all contribute to showing how versatile Daij is.
Favorites: Lie2Me, Selena & The Weeknd, good luck! (#1), back by SUMMER**
Least favorite: (HOLLYWOOD)
