there are some fun riffs in here but overall the album feels pretty generic and this makes the songs feel like they last a lot longer than they do
guitar riffs are really great and work really well with the really catchy synth melodies, was also glad to hear some more heavier riffs in this album too
Discovered scrump because of this, I just wish the song was a bit longer also the audio at the end is hot as fuck and if you disagree you're denying yourself the pleasures of carefree joy
The fact that the songs on here are about vore makes it even better
For how unserious the cover and song name are the actual song is surprisingly soulful and personal, all the people who can't handle the music because it's unabashedly furry or horny are all cowards.
despite the joyful cover many of the songs have a uniquely haunting sound that is hard to describe, and yet, the album cover still perfectly fits the atmosphere of the songs. My favorite track is: Im Ofen ist es warm
With a concept like this we could've had a band that had some level of political commentary or satire or something like that to make them unique and instead we got more generic fuckboy music.
This entire album is nothing but cold and unrelenting misery, due in part to the melancholically defeated sounding guitar melodies but also because of Robert Smith's pained and depressed vocals. You can really feel what smith was going through in this album and the poetic lyrics really add to that.
Snowbringer's Spells is a nice ambient track and What Is The Glimmer 'Top The Looming Castle Bell is a great solemn closing track
Favorite track is Crusty Cum Adorned Furcon Amputee Fuck-Toy
Guitar sounds and vocals are basically the same as the rest of the albums but on this album the drum machine just spams you with the bass kick drum instead of having a more clear rhythm for you to latch onto when listening, similar to Oral Fixation the amen break does briefly appear in beginning of Ejaculating Warm Semen Onto Your Paws although it's more generic sounding than on Oral Fixation.
The breakcore parts of the songs make the album pretty interesting and even fun to listen to, although the guitar riffs are pretty generic and inaudible
The intro and outro synth tracks, while simple, do a pretty good job at building a tense and horrifying atmosphere for the album. Similarly, the sample used in the beginning of the track Spurting Cum Into Your Waiting Gaping Hole, Seeing Your Stomach Distent with Semen builds an equally ominous, almost snuff film-esq atmosphere, especially with the droning buzz that plays in the background for the duration of the sample. However, there's not much to say for the actual meat of the album ... read more
Really underrated early black metal album, the synths on En Verden Av Stein and The Fall of a Christianity are really mystical and the riffs in The Predicted Future are really good as well
Personally I think this album is over-hated considering how theres a lot of kinky generic pop music outside of Pent Up Pup's discography that is usually rated higher, aside from the furry on the album cover and the specifics of the kinkiness in the lyrics there's really not that much of a difference between this and other horny music. Overall I'd say the instrumentation and lyrical creativity are about on par with someone like modern Ed Sheeran, although at least Pent Up Pup ... read more
