Watching Todd in the shadows' video on this band makes You Dreamer feel more depressing but also genuine
Incredibly dense album filled with complex dissonant riffs that hardly gives the listener any breaks paired with the most high-pitched screeched vocals I've ever heard.
The lyrics in this album are really fun and I recommend reading them, especially the lyrics for Gnaw and Soda Ring Strangulation.
Hard ass beats to brew sinister potions and get hearing damage too.
Album cover is pretty creative considering it's a split album also Disgusting Scars on Me goes hard.
More of the same sludgy caveman riffs, nothing too unique but nothing extremely boring either. I only wish the guitar riffs were a bit more audible like on the previous album and didn't devolve into static 50% of the time, when the guitar riffs are audible they fuck pretty hard
S.A.T.O. goes hard as fuck and the title track is hauntingly beautiful
The build up in coda maestoso in f flat minor in subtle but really good and the solo is amazing
The alternate album cover for this with the comic on it is probably one of my favorite album covers.
