It's nice to hear Madonna making house music again, but this just sounds like a really watered down version of Confessions tbh
Pop perfection. The melodic songwriting is top-tier. Love the blend of house, techno, trance, and nu-disco; the production has a very unique vibe to it
Decent, maybe a strange choice for a lead single. Glad she's going in a more dance/house direction again
One of my most anticipated albums of the year. I ended up lukewarm on most of it. I've always preferred Jessie Ware's more synth-y disco and 80s influenced songs over her more soul-influenced songs. Not that those are bad, it's just not a style that I gravitate towards. Unfortunately, most of this album falls into that latter category. The album's not bad, just largely not my cup of tea. Ride is a banger, though, and I could see Sauna really growing on me.
After going through much of Goldfrapp’s discog, I really get the sense that they are more of a singles artist. The singles are truly great tho
