A fine album. Nothing really too special apart from a few tracks.

The KKK Took My Baby Away
We Want the Airwaves
7-11
I could feel it. My life flashing before my eyes… I saw God’s hand extending, ready to shake mine and welcome me to the afterlife… then the album ended and I was fine.
This dude bro. I swear his past like ten albums now have all been the same bullshit. Can we also acknowledge how horrendous these album covers are?
This just isn’t a Ramones album. Bringing Phil Spector in was an insane mistake. I get that they wanted to be popular, but this is one of the worst cases of selling out. I can still enjoy some songs.
Best songs:
Do You Remember Rock n Roll Radio?
Rock n Roll High School
All the Way
This album, while still amazing and influential, is noticeably lesser than their first three albums (all 100/100). Though, I like the sound, at certain points I’m skeptical of the new pop-oriented sound and some songs I begin to zone out of. Still a great album, don’t get me wrong.
Best songs:
Don’t Come Close
It’s a Long Way Back
She’s the One
The Ramones are the only artist (at least that I’ve heard) to have their first three albums all be 100/100s. Rocket to Russia continues the trend of being an amazing and influential punk rock album. This album shakes things up with mixing punk with some surf and “bubblegum” elements that I actually really love. Does it surpass the debut? Nope. But is it one of my top 35 fav albums? Absolutely.
Best songs:
Why Is It Always This Way?
Cretin Hop
Sheena is a Punk Rocker
Few artists have been able to get two consecutive 100/100s as their first two albums, and The Ramones are one of these artists to achieve this feat. This album is everything that The Ramones did right on their debut with a more “rock ‘n’ roll” twist. Just another perfect album. Would I call this better than the debut? No. But is this album still top 30? Yes. Definitely.
Best songs:
Carbona Not Glue
Commando
Suzy is a Headbanger
An amazing debut album that completely changed the music scene forever. This short ‘n sweet album is the first and definitive punk rock album. Simple, loud and short. This album is among many of the few actual perfect ones. Not one song lacks, I was fully captivated the entire way and I was amazed. This album is one of my top 15 favourites and it will likely stay there.
Best songs:
I Don’t Wanna Go Down to the Basement
Judy is a Punk
Chain Saw
One of Ringo’s strongest albums.
Best songs:
Never Without You
What Love Wants to Be
Trippin’ On My Own Tears
I don’t get the hate for this album. I think it’s a fun album. The “Love Me Do” cover is definitely terrible but I don’t think it weighs the album down too much. Ringo’s successful streak continues.
Best songs:
What in the… World
Vertical Man
King of Broken Hearts
I really like this album and this is the first album in a streak of a few albums by Ringo that I don’t actually mind and can actually put on.
Uninteresting and boring album. A step-up, though! Not many people get the chance to go from “genuinely atrocious” to “boring”.
