this is fucking awful, im honestly impressed drake even has an audience when he has produced mid to trash level music for the past decade, minimum. The entire album feels like one song, its just whine, whine, whine, with no substance at all, just him being insecure, dude can't move on from anything, dude is almost 40 talking about strippers, bitches, nobody cares about this shit dawg
the beats are overly repetitive, id be surprised if there are more than one producer in this. drake's ... read more
as a 2025 avalanches fan im surprised they even released an album after only 6 years
After 2 zero out of 10 albums like Vultures, then some fucking mentally insane singles like HH and the ENTIRETY of CUCK which is wild to think he produced that album at all, Ye finally releases something that isn't either a 4chan level troll levels of edgyness or just straight up ass.
Like always, Kanye stans will idolize everything he makes so the standards were pretty low for everyone in this project, including them since that they would applaud Ye for not supposedly using AI voices in ... read more
a whole ass movie, the most alive perfomance ever, it just is latin american culture at its peak
proud to be brazilian and who knows, perhaps i should learn spanish to connect more with my neighbors
Long Live America
HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY
There is a certain weight in this album, that once you know the context you are in a way forced to see all of this in a different angle. "It's a man's goodbye to the world" "his last possible chance to show what he was good at" and although not necessarily every information about this album production is real (like him making the entirety of this in the hospital) this fact really doesn't change anything. Afterall, most beats were made ... read more
why only the japanese can enjoy the best song on the album
the imapct this one had on me will never go away. i cant handle this is just pure but pure genius, the mix of dark comedy amongst pure honest jokes really hits the nail. legend
Okay yeah i wasnt missing out on much
This album honestly makes me sad in a way, it is a perfect representation of how creative burnout sounds like. Phife and Q Tip's dynamic is completely gone, they sound distant, they sound like friends that just met eachtother a week before then decided to start a rap group. The chemistry is simply gone.
The beats are just SUPER fucking underwhelming, mainly coming from legends like Dilla and Q Tip even. What happened dude, these beats barely sound ... read more
Its a good album but not a great one
you see, i think every Nas verse was honestly fire, he sounds excited, he sounds energetic in this. he WANTED to make the album.
However, Preemo's production has a lot to be desired sometimes. The scratching is as sick as always but some, honestly most beats in this just sound like 4 bars beats and thats it.
He found a micro loop and uses it for the rest of the song, and this makes some songs sound lazy man. In the Hitboy era we had many beat ... read more
a less polished version of SILY
the mixing is absurd considering all the samples layered on top of eachother, however, the samples are a lot more obvious so it kinda loses the mythical touch the released version has. in SILY the songs are heavily sampled, yes, but they sound more like unique pieces than this one that just sounds like mashups
Great album! The intro alond got me excited for the rest, it shows that De La Soul similarly to ATQC in their last album still wanted to keep their essence, their roots. I like how some songs in here sounds like it came straight from the late 80s, some electronic funky vibes. The feature list is just excellent, Nas lately has been going wild on the features, this year mainly and then we got people that by now are just our "friends" when it comes to hiphop, Common, Black Thought and ... read more
Classic kanye beats in here and its as great as you expect, cheerful, soulful stuff.
Now, i dont know if i still dont get Jay-Z but i personally find him a bit monotonous at times, not matching the song's energy? I perhaps find his rapping also too basic at times but in general, its an enjoyable album, also i love Eminem's feature, that is great.
Im sure those who lived in NY had definitely a good time listening to this when it came out... after coming back home... if that even ... read more
shit like this is why i respect danny so much
like he doesnt care, he knows we already got to listen to his most insane sounds that i bet he just expects that most of his fans will fuck with any shit he comes up with at this point. rather is some hyperpop, some other music genres or just some insane mental asylum beat that only he could rhyme on. excited for this album, holy
i have to admit i havent listened to a FULL Mobb Deep project before but hey, this quite cool
I think the Alchemist cooked on every beat honestly, however the rapping perfomances somehow were the weakest part
I mean the features were definitely good, Clear Black Nights was honestly great, every Nas feature was pretty damn good, and considering the sound of this album was already reminding me of Clipse's most recent album, im honestly surprised they are in here too!
Its a solid project but ... read more
you know what, i change my mind
after these 6 months i just find this shit to be one of the funniest, braindead songs ive ever seen
no, i dont support any of kanye's psychopathic shit, but this song took all things so far that it became hilarious
WHO is taking this shit seriously man, i just cant do shit but laugh, i feel like a 2016 teenager on youtube laughing at this shit but i cant hold myself
Nas fantastic feature run this year reminds me of Kendrick's godlike feature run during 2016
After getting done with their latest albums, they just spend the next 1 or 2 years owning tracks, putting them on fire, its wild, man
