An insanely heavy song from all artists. This song is a dream come true of mine because BLURREDMOVEMENT and Natte Visstick are some of my favorite artists, and yeah, this was about as good as I expected from a collab between them. This PHOROS guy is also good.
WIRED is a very solid effort at restoring Basement's former glory, with some very notable songs despite the differences from their previous works. For starters, this album is a lot more laid back than any of their previous works, also with a lot more electronic elements too, but WIRED is a great listen regardless that evokes a very 2010's vibe and is a super enjoyable listen from start to end.
The chorus is peak, and it seems that this is fairly well received, so I really don't have much to say about this that other people haven't already said yet.
Not exactly the most riveting of Skillet songs, but a decent cross between their older stuff lyric-wise and newer stuff production-wise.
The chorus is pretty cool in a way that most Skillet songs aren't- John's vocals paired with the guitar work here make for an interesting combination that amplifies the message of the song.
A fairly generic song concept-wise, but the execution is good enough to still feel refreshing and powerful.
A powerful, aggressive, and stunningly good effort by Metallica that stirs up some crazy energy and makes for a very fun listen overall.
Thanks to my friend Tim for the rec
It may not be the most original song, and it may lack some of the crazy choruses like in Lux Æterna, but this song is solid overall and has some great instrumentation. It's definitely one of the weaker songs on 72 Seasons, but that's not to say it's bad in any way.
White it's not the most memorable song on 72 Seasons, it's an impressively solid one.
The chorus is peak. It's supposed to be, but here the band has really outdone themselves.
Thanks to my friend Tim for the rec. He said I should listen to If Darkness Had a Son, but I went ahead and listened to the rest anyways.
Despite the fact that Metallica has been around forever, they prove they still have that fire they are most known for from their early days through 72 Seasons. A heavy, unrelenting force, 72 Seasons accomplishes everything a good thrash metal album should. Each song (mostly) brings a new fresh energy with some killer riffs, memorable choruses, and an ... read more
An insanely heavy and brutal song that really goes to show how legendary this album is.
Mastodon is a heavy, unrelenting metal album where every track hits, and despite most of them sounding the same, the album doesn't miss at all and carries a super high energy level throughout the entirety of its duration- something other albums have a hard time doing. Overall, it's a super thrilling listen that I'd recommend for anyone into metal.
An instant classic that really needs to be heard by more nu metal fans; this song goes immeasurably hard, and even Skillet haters cannot deny this is gas.
