This album kinda feels if Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Project went with a more upbeat and full approach. If it's true that this is made on Garageband though, I'd actually be insanely impressed. This album shows a high degree of both quality and consistency, being overall just a really cool project, even if it being made on Garageband is holding it back (cause Garageband ain't great).

I just genuinely have zero clue what this is supposed to be. It's kind of like hand sanitizer for my ears but I still don't like it and I'll probably never listen to it again. It's just way too messy, unstructured, and just overall not for me.
This album has some pretty significant ups and downs, but at the end of the day, there are some absolute bangers on here.
Whatever the heck dariacore is, it's not really for me. I can see this being someone else's thing though, but this is pretty messy in my opinion.
This album is literally the perfect embodiment of how thrash metal should be done. This album is a full 36 minutes where Nuclear Assault (which is a top tier band name btw) is kicking and screaming and shredding almost the entire time. Also, +10000000 respect for the Mr. Softee reference. I you're uncultured, it's an ice cream truck chain thing in New York (maybe some other places too), and I used to live there, so that theme threw me back a TON.
Really boring in my opinion, and this song could use a big overhaul, since it's just really mid overall.
This song needs different kicks because the current ones are too weak in my opinion, but the mixing and sound design otherwise is overall decent.
Hello again! Thanks for checking out my new EP, please vote for genres and stuff. Thanks for listening!
This album perfectly encapsulates basically every aspect of 80s synthpop. Even if there are a few flaws here and there, this album is quite well-rounded, with the first 3 tracks especially being quite memorable.
Genuinely what the heck did I just listen to?
Wow, an actually decent Lil Texas collab! I'm surprised! Seriously though, the kicks here are very good, even if the synths and drums are nothing too special.
Not as adventurous as S.C.I.E.N.C.E., and it sounds like they're kind of just appealing to the mainstream media (sadly), but it's not their total death of innovation yet, as even though it's a little stale and less fun, it's still not bad.
The chorus is so memorable that it feels criminal to give it anything below a 90, even if it is a little annoying.
I don't know what it is about this song, but it's just so upbeat and I love that about it, despite the somewhat depressing/serious/whatever topic.
The production is pretty unique considering the rest of the album, but the different style works very well.
Honestly, this blows 99% of other synthpop out of the water by a MILE. I don't know what it is about this song, but I have an inexplicable love for it that I cannot possibly put into words.
The drum machine is pretty annoying, and the hi hat kinda hurts my ears, but the rest of the song is actually quite nice.
This band is everything Radiohead tried hard but failed to be. I never thought Basement would come back from intermittent touring and make another full length album, but here we are! These first two singles are extremely promising, and it’s looking like it’ll shape up to be a Beside Myself part 2 in a way.

WIRED - 100/100 - This song sounds so jam-packed with emotion, and Basement has had plenty of time to smooth out their instrumentation, as the ... read more
