Nuclear Assault returns after forever to make one final EP, and although it is sad that this looks to be the end for them, I'm glad we got something extra on the way out.

Pounder - 79/100 - The drumming is very cool here, but the vocals and lyrics are kinda just eh.
Lies - 93/100 - I think this is nowhere near a 93, but screw it; I love this song. It's super catchy and aggressive at the same time, and it's got a really thrashy energy that kind of ... read more
One of the greatest new wave/synthpop songs to come out of the 80's. I'm just ratings The Plastic Age here btw. This song has such a unique vibe and the choruses are really somethin special.
This album was my first introduction to Converge, and it sounds about how I'd expect based on the cover, genre tags, track names, and all that good stuff. This album doesn't take a breather (except for Beyond Repair kinda but I'll excuse that cause it's cool) and keeps some mad energy going throughout its entirety. While it may not be crazy innovative, this album is a great listen for anyone who likes this type of stuff.
A very convicting and angry metal track that is packed full of emotion and rage.
I mean, what is there to say that hasn't been said already? It's a sucker punch of a metal track that's insane and thrilling in every capacity.
While I really wished they stayed with that sound they had in S.C.I.E.N.C.E., I can't be too mad, cause even though this slower alternative rock style isn't really for me, I can't say I hate it. It's a little long for how repetitive it sounds, but it's overall a decent album with a more laid-back vibe than I'd've hoped for.
Honestly, this is really disappointing. The sound design is very lazy and this song really doesn’t sound very interesting.
While this album may not push any new boundaries, it serves as a good project filled with heavy kicks, loud screeches, haunting melodies, and as per the electronic music standard, excessively cringy vocals.

OBEY_THE_DOCTRINE - 70/100 - Pretty cool and atmospheric intro. Not much to say.
INFEKTED_VIRUS - 69/100 - I think Kruelty tried a bit too hard with this one, the song feels a little haphazard and overall just a little too much.a
WE_ARE_ONE - 73/100 - This song is ... read more
I didn't really do a good review for this EP earlier so these are my thoughts after relistening. I hate to hate it, but it's just not good. The lot of this EP is just complete slop that sounds vaguely like dubstep.

The Life I Want (feat. Ace Of Hearts) - 52/100 - This definitely needs a remaster and a remake, but despite how unorganized and messy it is, the first drop ain't bad.
Half Asleep (feat. Graedeint Descent) - 46/100 - Really sloppy and just has ... read more
A little more pop-ish and overall less interesting as opposed to The Great Divide, but this song still slaps.
I've been told many times that my music taste is shit, and that I have horrible opinions, but I genuinely don't understand the hate. This album is 50 minutes of pure metal bliss, and I really have no huge critiques. Even though the snare is really untuned though, it's actually really good and adds to the super heavy and brutal energy the album does an already great job of working up.
Early Astral's main problem is how bad Bandlab is for sound design. In this song, however, it's not bad. The synths are especially really nice. The composition is also pretty good, and it's just overall a good song, even if the cover is a little... idk.
This has a lot of potential, actually, and the composition is good. The sound design is also remarkably decent for early Astral stuff, so that's a huge plus. Overall could use a little TLC but in its current state it's actually good.
This instrumentation is trash, I'm sorry. Now, in terms of concept, this is good for early Astral's shenanigans. It is very long though, like does it need to be 7 minutes? No. But hey, at least there's a good bit of diversity in sound here to keep things kinda fresh.
Listen Arrows, I hate to keep shitting on your music, but this is a lot more coherent than Mast. 3000, I just think you should try something instrumental (and I mean that will all due respect), as the background loop is just the same thing over and over, but its kinda cool. There's also this cool TTS thing I found that you might wanna experiment with, so here's that: https://imrane03.github.io/better-sam/

I have no clue what to make of this album. It's nothing like Modeselektor (for the most part), but there are some pretty terrible tracks (aka just This Track Kills Fascism), but it's not the worst thing I've ever listened to, even if the good stuff is quite repetitive and simple.

Blessed Speed - 51/100 - Really weird and unremarkable in basically every capacity.
Edgar (CV1) - 63/100 - It's very repetitive, but it's kinda nice.

Genuinely really unique, experimental, and overall danceable techno-ish song, I mean, what is there to say? It's a banger.
