Nothing exciting or new that he brought to the table with this one. If you put these songs on any of his previous projects I would believe you. Some highlights but most of it blends together to make one big long snoozefest.
I wanted to like this album more than I did which is dissapointing but there are some hard heavy hitters on this album like seventeen, dance to this, and my my my.
As someone who was never really a big fan of Kim's work and not really familar with most of it, when freak it came out I was sat for whatever she had in store for this album. Kim does a great job with everything she set her mind too in this album. It truly makes me wonder why Republic Records would push back such a beautiful, honest, loud, brilliant, fun, and exciting piece of work. To me this is Kim's TRUE debut album.
