I love the perfectly hoarse vocals, the moments that erupt into aggression and the guitar work that follows as all of this goes on. I’m not usually a big fan of midwest emo but this was great.

The best way that I can describe this albums is like introspective psychedelic carnival music, but its also poppy and rocky. Like that one scene in dumbo where he drinks alcohol and starts having visions. Maybe thats an inaccurate comparison, either way the album is so ahead of it’s time and they go full maximalism on the cover and it’s my personal favorite from the Beatles catalog.
An interesting change of genres as the album progresses. I love the album cover so much it's kind of the main reason I listen to any album.
This album feels like I'm living in the future and I'm looking back on the days of my prime.

I appreciate how he uses the Christian themes in this album. Although he's not spreading the gospel outright. he's blending alot of biblical vocabulary and concepts as a way to explain how troubled he feels or as a way to articulate how past relationships made him feel.
