This is one of those albums that feels like it did everything it sought out to do. You can tell this was made with such an intense artistic vision. wow.
Listened to this while exploring a catacomb in Elden ring, which definitely made this an experience.
Sounds like something that would be on th's pro skater and that's quite frankly right up my alley
Doesnt venture off too much from what we've heard from her but is still a sonically beautiful landscape nevertheless.
Doesnt overstay its welcome and I like that. Lose Your Sight and Siesta are the kinda songs that I live for.
Honestly a great neo soul record expressing different forms of love and longing. If you like experimental neo soul like Solange's 'When I Get Home', then you'll probably enjoy this as well.
Favorites: Adjust Brightness, Sunshine, Evr Chngin Nrml, Micro Macro
I found the song 'overture' from this album off of one of Bryant Giles' playlists and I decided to listen to the whole thing. Super underrated shibuya-kei esque album.
If I had an Argentine grandpa I would show this to him IMMEDIATELY. Argentines were eating good in the 70s and 80s and im lowk jealous😒
Avant garde German freakiness. I dont feel like my palate is adjusted to this type of music yet but I like the album cover.
Im not going to rate this yet because im not exactly hearing what other people are hearing. I can tell that its experimental but like it just sounds like weird old music to me? I'll try to relisten to it and I'll actually rate but it kinda just sounds like goodwill music to me rn lol.
The intrumentals on this album are comforting, but at the same time feel like a remnant of the past permanently. That being said I wasnt really listening to the lyrics so unfortunately the simplicity of the guitar and vocals singled out kind of got boring to me after a couple of songs but I'll relisten to the lyrics and see if that changes anything (it will). Edit: album is goated.
Nothing really to say, I kind of like everything Spinetta does. I will say that the track "Espejada" was particularly hypnotic and I also really liked Amidama as well.
