Iowa is a chaotic mess of relentless anger, loud riffs, and occasionally cheesy lyrics, and it's aged astoundingly well. It's certainly grown on me as I've repeatedly forced myself to listen through it, and I've learned to appreciate the disgusting sound and production, that being said, the tracks here are very inconsistent in every way imaginable.

By no means a bad album, but i feel like there's some nostalgia bias skewing the score. Very chaotic in a good way, with many memorable riffs, and messy production to match the harsh and violent feel of every track.

Very consistent & catchy album with no particular low points, very much short & sweet but kinda wish songs were longer so the ideas could be developed further, most songs feel like previews for themselves

While I think many of the songs here could've gone with a bit of trimming at parts, this album is very cohesive yet every song feels new and different from the last, and of course also actually sounds good. The energy takes a bit of a dip near the end, leaving room for freedom dive to roundhouse kick your ears with an explosive finale. Standouts are: Halcyon, Mirage Garden, Ascension to Heaven, and FREEDOM DIVE
