I was being to generous to all my other ratings, this is actually a perfect album.
Lil Ugly Mane gives us a beautifully crafted album with insane samples and production. Every song dives deep into depressing lyrics while maintaining a calm serene atmosphere with each song. Phenomenal album Lil Ugly Mane, hope to see you doing better.

I think Bloodluxe is MILES ahead of Half-Blood by any means, really goes to show how Slayr was able to improve his skills in such little time. Slayr is quickly becoming one of my favorite rappers this year and I look forward to seeing his new releases soon! Hopefully it'll go even harder than his previous work.

MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS was able to put so much passion in a six song long album. I knew I had to listen to some form of J-Rock being half japanese, and this did not disappoint. I felt so much joy when listening yet so much melancholy, bittersweet really is a great tag for this album.

Am I ascending to heaven? I felt beauty, I felt depression, I felt hope. This entire album is like a one and a half hour movie that speaks volumes despite its absence of words. The emotion I felt is indescribable. The journey I witnessed was incredible. And best of all, absolute respect to GY!BE (and honorable mention to MBV) for removing their music from Spotify. That scumbag of a company doesn't deserve to have absolute peak on their platform.

Earl Sweatshirt gives us a 24 minute LP that has 15 songs, making most songs extremely short but still worthwhile to listen to. Earl was able to use a ton of samples paired with the depressive and chill vibe of the album. I really wish more hip hop albums had such a lofi feel to it so you could keep a smooth listen while not being on the edge of your toes at every moment.
