fun "tame impala"-esque music, although that's kind of derivative to me. as a project it's really solid. tumbled upon this album and keep returning to elysian frequently.
admittedly surprised they haven't blown up sooner. the entire album is a really solid shoegaze mix, and this album deserves a bit more love.
this is hilariously bad. it's unfortunate that tlt wants to make a political album but makes it in the most indigestible way possible. it's the epitome of that homelander image where it says: when someone has the exact same opinion as you but they express it in such an annoying and obnoxious way that you lowkey don't want to agree
genuinely the most white shit ever. surface level lyrics that you'll hear blasted in a k-mart or a ross. truly astounding that people like this guy or any of his songs.
peak moden prog & psych. had to come back to to it after listening to deadbeat
really bland and uninspiring given mr. parker's record of producing some general bangers. loser and dracula still slap, but i cannot overlook the second half of this album so far. it's like he stuck his foot into more diverse genre's and ended up deciding he didn't necessarily like it but STILL decided to publish it anyway.
i'm sure with time this'll grow on me, just like slow rush did, but this is unfortunately a whole lot of mid from kevin,
really fucking good furry music dude. forgot to add this to my rated, but genuinely give it a listen.
ill in-depth review in a bit.
passable furry music, it's digestible and not nearly as heinous as pent up pup. russel is good, but it lacks a certain je ne sais quoi to it.
if you're looking for decent furry music please look at vylet pony, russel is good but not nearly as she is.
deer ass also acts as gunshots to the community and gets the pearl clutching puritans all rowdy as if this community wasn't built off sexual deviance in the beginning
im admittedly a furry, but my god does this album suck. pent up pup genuinely rubs me the wrong way (no pun intended). it's very sexually depraved, which in a community that is inherently involved in kink is no real surprise, but this is just really mediocre horniness. i can't even give it a decent rating, cause it kind of just sucks musically as well as the creator being a zoophile.
mixing isn't as good as it was live surprisingly for paint me a picture but maybe it's the recency bias i have of seeing them. still fucking FANTASTIC and im hoping that the december 5th album date leak is gonna prove to real because this new era sounds fire
the goat of gorillaz discography. i needn't say more.
Favorite Tracks: To Binge, Rhinestone Eyes, On Melancholy Hill
Least Favorite Tracks: None.
Not a perfect album, by any means. Skinny Ape is surely a song, but it's not the worst Gorillaz project to-date either. Very solid listen.
Favorite Tracks: Oil, Cracker Island, Baby Queen
Least Favorite Tracks: Tarantula, Skinny Ape
Genuinely the most insane drop from those two French men. This live show seemed like they were on 7 lines of coke and unlocked their full brain potential while mixing. None of these remixes are bad, AT all.
I know a lot of people will say “this album saved my life” or “music saved my life", something Porter Robinson's community has come to say jokingly, but I do *genuinely* believe Nurture meant that much to so many people, myself included.
To me, it is the perfect album. It feels like Porter Robinson poured every piece of himself from this era into the project, and what came out was something fragile, beautiful, and deeply human, something I think EDM had lacked until ... read more
Realized I forgot to post this:
My introduction to Worlds came in a really unusual way, through the SiIvaGunner rip of “Good Night – Undertale.” I had no clue who SiivaGunner was and hadn't learned of what "rips" were at that point, and fully went in listening to that song to fall asleep some odd 8 years ago. But, that upload ended not with the expected Undertale theme, but with “Goodbye To A World.” That rip has been unforgettable to me since I ... read more
