I can admit Porter has faults with Smile! :D. The tracks that hit, HIT. There's a lot of questionable lines (a la "funny monkey"), but the entire album has this captivating energy that draws you in. Not as nearly emotionally resonant with me as Worlds or Nurture, but this album still holds a portion of my heart.

Really good work from Frost Children. Extremely fun and bouncy, but like a lot of the people here I find it hard to click with them in an emotional manner. This does not subtract from the total amount of work they've poured into this album in its entirety as it's nothing but fantastic, but just lacks a lot of emotional depth/connection for me.

Completely lackluster. Easily Taylor's worst work to date, and attempts to capture Sabrina Carpenter's cute cringeness and fails miserably. To use the term "reheated nachos" describes a lot of these boomclap 'anthems' produced by her new music producer.

Very solid listen, if you like Deftones sound.

But it's nothing *but* Deftones sound. The album just sounds like them without anything improved upon from earlier works.

No real complaints, but it just sounds like a constant unending song.

Magdalena Bay have completely outdone themselves with Imaginal Disk. I’d been holding off on making an account here until I saw them live again (the first time was at Second Sky 2022, which had its fair share of mixing issues, but I digress).
