Bebe... you used ChatGPT to generate the lyrics didn't you..? Cause it's second time you've used "Neon Lights" in this album so far
One of my favorite producers, SG Lewis finally dropped Anemoia after teasing with singles. His signature sound is all over it, smooth and easy to vibe to. At times, though, it leans more toward a chill lounge experience than a full-on dance record—it’s the kind of music you’d hear in a fancy restaurant. Not necessarily bad, but it does make parts of it feel like background music. Still, it’s a good listen and a welcome addition to his catalog.
Sabrina leans into horniness on her latest album, but my ears didn’t quite get the orgasm they were hoping for. After the runaway success of Short n’ Sweet, expectations were sky-high, and this LP doesn’t fully reach them. Still, it’s an enjoyable listen—the retro vibes land, the production is polished, and her vocals continue to shine. It may not top her best work, but it’ll definitely stay in my rotation.
With classics like “Papa Don’t Preach,” “Open Your Heart,” and “La Isla Bonita,” True Blue cemented Madonna’s place as a global pop force. The rest of the album is solid enough to hold it together, though some of its charm has faded with time. Newer listeners—especially those who discovered Madonna through her later work—may find it less striking, but it remains an important chapter in her discography.
