Mac Miller's K.I.D.S might be a bit amateur, immature and childish, maybe even a little corny at times, but I just can't help but have an absolute blast with this project. Of course not every song on here works for me but it's undeniable how fun, charming and feel good this is. I also love Mac's energy in this - in every single song, he sounds like he's having the best time recording this music and that energy is so extremely contagious to the listener (at least to me). Even though this album is really well-made, with colourful noisy production, melancholic lyrics and great vocal performances, it didn't particularly stick the landing for me. I had a good time listening to it but by the end nothing really captivated me as much as it seems it did for other people. Still a solid project nonetheless.

A Disco album that feels so full of life and energy and is so sonically rich. Truly not one single second is wasted on this project. What a fun time.

Super cool energy and sound. Great performances. However, the songs are all so short they feel more like snippets of unfinished songs (only a little taste if anything) and, unfortunately, the briefness of each track made for a very scattered listen for me - I could never fully sink my teeth into any of the songs on the record because whenever I felt myself feeling really engrossed in a track, it's already moving on to the next.
