One of the most cohesive, well-rounded, fully realized albums I've heard in a long time.

The Kacey we all missed is back! LOL. Deeper Well is filled with folky Fleet(wood Mac or Foxes) sonic brilliance with a side of somewhat disappointing and odd psychedelic pop (?). She truly shines with her songwriting and lyricism here. It's all about clearing up all the emotional bullshit and truly enjoying the people in your life who will always be there. The album does tend to draaag towards the end, but a beautiful comeback for Miss Musgraves!

Let's get into it, shall we?

60 - "intro" - Left more to be desired for an intro track, but good setup.

60 - "bye" - Kind of just a basic pop song for Ariana. The production gives earlier Ariana which I don't totally love, but it is dancey. Good lyrics, nothing super special for me.

80 - "dont wanna break up again" - So much fun! Great pop vocal arrangements, as per usual.

This is just classic hip-hop and DJ'ing to me. When I think of the idea of a DJ or a producer, I think of this man. Just invented and created a world that is still evolving to this day. Laid the foundation for so much of music's future. It's simply too good. Get lost in the world of Donuts.
