Oingo Boingo - Dead Man's Party
87

Dead Man's Party is absolutely loaded with super zany and fun tracks it just shreds so hard. So catchy and so good and it's a quintessential Halloween album for me.

Taylor Swift - Midnights
62

It's an okay album, I liked it more the second time I listened to it, so it's probably a grower for most people. It's not really my style musically and I don't really relate to the themes, so it's not something I would really listen to again, but it sounded pretty much fine. I liked "Snow on the Beach" and "Sweet Nothings" probably the most.

Stan Getz & João Gilberto - Getz/Gilberto
100

Of course I have to give this a 10/10, this album is simply STACKED with legendary bossa nova hits, from front to back, and I adore every second!! Getz/Gilberto is genre defining, bold yet exceedingly peaceful, and makes you wish you were on a flight to Rio. "Só danço samba" is my favorite but every song is incredible.

PAENDA - Evolution II
37

I really did not vibe with this album, as it's just lacking in basically every area for me. The music sounds dated (even by 2019 standards), the songwriting is pretty clunky, literal, and basic, and the vocal effects sound pretty bad. The only song that sounded good here is "Limits," which sounds literally nothing like the rest of the LP, because it is a Eurovision single. Other than that song, which I already knew prior to visiting this album, I didn't like a single other song, which ... read more

Ween - The Mollusk
97

This album is truly special because has something for everyone. It has something for people who are currently sentimental over a woman, something for the people who wave their dick in the wind, something for the psychedelic rock fans, something for the little boy who has just found a mollusk on the ground, something for the people dancing in the show tonight, and most importantly, something for the sea shanty enthusiast. Now, I can tell you that I am at least one of those things, so I thought ... read more

NCT - Universe

This album was all over the place, quality wise. I really did not enjoy the first 5 tracks, I thought they weren't very good or well-made at all. Then the next song "Know Now" was like, by far the best song of this project for me, and I thought the 2-3 songs after it were pretty good too. And then the last part of the album were okay songs. All in all it was an interesting listen just for that Ride it went on but I wouldn't revisit this.

Will Wood - "In case I make it,"
80

I Made It, In Case you were wondering.
This album is a clear departure from Will Wood's previous 3 works, a more stripped-back and folksy album. It's not the catchiest sound in the world, but it is well produced and performed, and its sincere and melancholy attributes continue to allow the creativity and uniqueness that Will Wood has demonstrated across all of his works shine through in its own way. I know many people prefer the noisier and more upbeat Will Wood, but I enjoy this right along ... read more

Will Wood - The Normal Album
100

I Love, This Album Normally.
Ok that is a lie I am EXTREMELY biased but I can't help it, truly The Normal Album means the world to me. This project slaps insanely hard, the instrumentals are super dynamic and creative, the subject matter is extremely relatable to me, Will sounds amazing as usual, literally it's a flawless album to me what else am I supposed to say. Makes me go apeshit every time
"2econd-2ight-2eer (That Was Fun, Goodbye.)," "I / Me / Myself," "...well, ... read more

Will Wood & The Tapeworms - SELF-iSH
90

Another fantastic LP from Will Wood and the Tapeworms! While I personally enjoy listening to Everything is A Lot a bit more than SELF-iSH when taking each album as a whole, I think SELF-iSH, on a track-by-track basis, is much stronger. It carries over what was good about the first album and cranks things up a bunch of notches. Both projects feature self-aware lyrics, fast-paced delivery, and signature instrumentation, but SELF-iSH has noticeably stronger hooks and it feels overall a lot bolder. ... read more

Will Wood & The Tapeworms - Everything Is a Lot
90

Damn he wasn't lying that Everything really was A Lot.
From the simpler, piano-and-drum-dominated ballads to the full-on, max volume, max chaos jazz, klezmer, cabaret whatever you want to call it, this album transitions smoothly start to finish, and its spectacular lyricism prevents it from ever having an uninteresting moment. An absolute smash
My absolute top 3 favorite songs are "¡Aikido! (Neurotic / Erotic)," "Cover This Song (A Little Bit Mine)," and ... read more

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue

it Kind of Blue my mind

Bladee & Ecco2k - Crest

The atmosphere here is soft and strong, I love how dynamic the sound is, just a really neat experience overall. The vocals scratch an itch in my brain. Very cool

The 1975 - Being Funny in a Foreign Language
67

I think this album is very cozy and pleasant from a musical standpoint. The instrumentals are so good, combining the indie rock sound they're known for with folk-pop and jazz, and for me this is worked quite well. The biggest problem I have with this record is the spontaneity and lack of filter on the lyrics, which admittedly is an advantage for some tracks, but is kind of a hindrance overall for me. "Happiness" and "About You" are very good songs that I think actually ... read more

Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia
93

This, to me, is already a classic pop album, despite it only releasing about 2.5 years ago. Yes, it's true that not every song on this record is a hit. But got-DAMN, like half of the tracks here are straight up pop perfection, distinct futuristic-disco beats and catchy ass hooks all over the place. "Don't Start Now," "Levitating," "Break My Heart," "Hallucinate," "Love Again," and "Physical" are all absolute knockouts, and the low ... read more

Vladana - Breathe
44

I mean, I get the message and what this song really tried to be, but I just don't think it was executed the best. Not the worst song from ESC 2022, but there were many better entries.

Ochman - River
77

It is a good song and I like it. Not much else to say about it.

We Are Domi - Lights Off
88

Really good production, the lyrics are relatable, an absolute raver for me personally

Marius Bear - Boys Do Cry
38

Some facets of the instrumental are nice, but overall, while I don't hate it, it is simply Not Good.

Subwoolfer - Give That Wolf A Banana
99

This is camp. The girls who get it, get it and the ones that don't, don't. I don't know how else to say it really.

LPS - Disko
79

This song has a interesting sort of Disco vibe - "Sad on New Year's Eve-core," I'd call it. And for me the uniqueness in that makes it work the most. It's a bit amateurish overall in the delivery but I think that adds to the charm. Overall, I personally find it good, bordering on great even
