Dead Man's Party is absolutely loaded with super zany and fun tracks it just shreds so hard. So catchy and so good and it's a quintessential Halloween album for me.

It's an okay album, I liked it more the second time I listened to it, so it's probably a grower for most people. It's not really my style musically and I don't really relate to the themes, so it's not something I would really listen to again, but it sounded pretty much fine. I liked "Snow on the Beach" and "Sweet Nothings" probably the most.

Of course I have to give this a 10/10, this album is simply STACKED with legendary bossa nova hits, from front to back, and I adore every second!! Getz/Gilberto is genre defining, bold yet exceedingly peaceful, and makes you wish you were on a flight to Rio. "Só danço samba" is my favorite but every song is incredible.

I really did not vibe with this album, as it's just lacking in basically every area for me. The music sounds dated (even by 2019 standards), the songwriting is pretty clunky, literal, and basic, and the vocal effects sound pretty bad. This album was all over the place, quality wise. I really did not enjoy the first 5 tracks, I thought they weren't very good or well-made at all. Then the next song "Know Now" was like, by far the best song of this project for me, and I thought the 2-3 songs after it were pretty good too. And then the last part of the album were okay songs. All in all it was an interesting listen just for that Ride it went on but I wouldn't revisit this.

This album is a clear departure from Will Wood's previous 3 works, a more stripped-back and folksy album. It's not the catchiest sound in the world, but it is well produced and performed, and its sincere and melancholy attributes continue to allow the creativity and uniqueness that Will Wood has demonstrated across all of his works shine through in its own way. Ok that is a lie I am EXTREMELY biased but I can't help it, truly The Normal Album means the world to me. Another fantastic LP from Will Wood and the Tapeworms! While I personally enjoy listening to Everything is A Lot a bit more than SELF-iSH when taking each album as a whole, I think SELF-iSH, on a track-by-track basis, is much stronger. It carries over what was good about the first album and cranks things up a bunch of notches. From the simpler, piano-and-drum-dominated ballads to the full-on, max volume, max chaos jazz, klezmer, cabaret whatever you want to call it, this album transitions smoothly start to finish, and its spectacular lyricism prevents it from ever having an uninteresting moment. An absolute smash

The atmosphere here is soft and strong, I love how dynamic the sound is, just a really neat experience overall. The vocals scratch an itch in my brain. Very cool

I think this album is very cozy and pleasant from a musical standpoint. The instrumentals are so good, combining the indie rock sound they're known for with folk-pop and jazz, and for me this is worked quite well. I mean, I get the message and what this song really tried to be, but I just don't think it was executed the best. Not the worst song from ESC 2022, but there were many better entries.
