For a disstrack, it's amazing in every way - title and thumbnail combination screw Drake over, lyrics cut deep, everything.
Production is all-round good and matches her well
Not overly complex, lyricism is of good substance and lyrics/songs are of variety
Everything else is good
All-round, amazing album, not bloated
Must hear? Sure.
Catchy? Yes.
Is of at least some substance? More than enough.
Sends the message? Definitely.
Good trap song with an amazing feature and production on it.
tpab's main downsides were the replayability and how the lyrics simply had too much to grasp for some people, making it a massive coliseum of nonsense for them
GKMC's replayability is all perfect and you don't need to search up every single lyric to fully understand it. simply amazing
fun and short listen, if you wanna take a quick break and find something new well here you go
unique production, goofy lyrics
After a relisten, it screams to me How amazing this album is. THe production fits ScHool perfectly, the lyrics and the songs themselves Have substance but are still replayable. THere's also a sense of difference wHen most of tHe songs start off relaxed and later someHow transition to straight bars.
WortH listening to, just pay attention.
interesting work, not too sure what to say about this one but it's definitely worth listening to it.
it's all amazing, but the replayability is sometimes questionable, and the lyricism is a lot to grasp - call me smooth brained but I think quite a few people would agree when I say although the lyrics are great and clever as fuck, it affects the listening experience a lot when you have to look up damn near everything just to understand what the album is and why it's so praised, and understanding every lyric and grasping all of it can take so much time i can't even compare it to ... read more
Kind of like Akademiks said, Kendrick finds a nicer balance between replay-ability, substance, and message.
Definitely a more west-coast inspired album, and all-round amazing.
welcome to oblock is better, but this is still somewhat comparable. the production and lyricism are alright, von is a beast on the mic
worth listening? yes.
this mixtape is a mixed bag, you have fast flow songs like the matrix and then there's lost in time. it's not the most consistent, and feels like something put out purely for the hell of it.
also ps shite mixing
if you have the time, listen to it, not a must hear though
It's trap, but good.
The production can get just a bit repetitive, but still unique on most tracks. The lyricism is good, even if it's all about drill. The storytelling is amazing. I couldn't tell you a single downside to the album.
Do give it a listen.
