This is one of the best songs of all time. Why? It's honestly hard to put it into words. Before this, of Montreal didn't make 12 minute long epics. I've been noticing that everyone likes the first half of Hissing Fauna more than the second half. I simply don't get it: both are good! This song is a good example of that. It's energetic, badass, and one hell of a ride! It's also the only glam rock song on the album, so it's your chance to bop your head before you return to that psychedelic goodness in "We Were Born The Mutants Again With Leafling". It's not my favorite from Skeletal Lamping, but "Id Engager" is still an awesome ending to that album. Funk driven, glamorous, and sexy. All the things that make of Montreal great, and they're all in this one song! Love this album, and love this song!
