Steely Dan sadly could not recapture their old magic perfectly in their hiatus-breaker Two Against Nature. Still, their musically vibrant and lyrically astounding songwriting still shows through occasionally. The opener, Gaslighting Abbie, is such a groove and a clever reference to the movie Gaslight.
