Whenever the first single dropped for this record I was so excited and then I listened and I remember just sitting in my chair with my literal jaw on the floor. This album did not sound anything like what I would have expected and it was fun to listen to it as it was still fresh. Not typically my kind of thing but really convinced me to look more into shoegaze.
I listened to this a while ago and enjoyed the experience but haven’t thought about it once since… so it’s aight
I’ve never been more paranoid listening to an album. Nor has many affected me so deeply as much as this one. As the world it builds falls apart you catch yourself yearning for the beauty long past. The silences and moments of clarity hit your ears like a brick.
(SPOILER: seriously if you have the 6 1/2 hours and the mental stability to spare this album is worth your time and don’t spoil it)
