Every Mountain Goats Album!

This is just a small little note thing, but I am so excited to be the first person to review this on AOTY. The lyricism is great with songs like Lungs and Waiting Around to Die being raw expressions of emotion that I haven't heard replicated anywhere besides Hurt by Johnny Cash. Its so appealing as its so human, its heart wrenching and uplifting at the same time as he covers alcoholism, love and addiction (my interpretation of Fare Thee Well, Miss Carousel). ... read more
