Great production and a sharp flow come together on this concise, yet cohesive sophomore release from J Raul Garcia. On highlight "4AM", RG tells a hard-hitting autobiographical story as he identifies with his Latino brothers on the immigration topic in the U.S. Emotional and raw while also inspiring, fun yet melancholic, and not without bangers (see "SWISH" and "FREE")--this is a fantastic hip hop release from the newest addition to the Reach roster.

Better than their worst albums, but nowhere near their best.
"High As a Kite" has to be one of the best Weezer tracks I've ever heard, and it's disappointing that such a great track has to be brought down by this mediocre album.
"Can't Knock the Hustle" and "Zombie Bastards" are pretty good tracks. The rest is 'meh' at worst, or just decent at best.

While perhaps a sonic deviation from Copeland’s “classic” sound, Blushing is a natural progression from their prior release Ixora and a deeper exploration of the slick production and airy tones of track “Lavender” from the 2014 album. Copeland have crafted an absolutely gorgeous and dreamy art pop/indie pop album with Blushing.

Favorite tracks include “Lay Here”, “On Your Worst Day”, “Suddenly” and “Pope”
