amazing album. completely forgot to review it last year when I was listening to all of Radiohead's albums hahaha. Anyways, not a whole lot of thoughtful comments to make despite the contents of this album being very rich. a lot of "1984" vibes. "Exit Music" feels like an escape (heh) from a dystopian, grey society. "Let Down" has one of the most amazing and climactic moments in all of Radiohead's discog with THAT part (ykwim). "Karma Police" is my favorite off the record. Not only an incredible music video (shoutout Jonathan Glazer for those who know), but also an incredibly eerie track that tells quite clearly that, even if you submit to authoritarianism, they'll still come for you, they know where you live. They will remember your face. Traitor. "Fitter Happier" stands out as the saddest Radiohead song. Only one real doozy on here, and it's "Airbag". "Airbag" blows (no pun intended).

the only real "negative" aspect of this album isn't even a negative. at the end of the day, Radiohead, IMO, has better records. records that expand upon the framework laid out here to push into new boundaries, whether moving into new genres or improving upon the lyrics. nonetheless, 'OK Computer' still stands as one of the most revolutionary rock albums of all time and is rightfully considered one of the finest.

favs: Paranoid Android, Subterranean Homesick Alien, Exit Music, Karma Police, Fitter Happier, Climbing Up the Walls, No Surprises, The Tourist
least fav: Airbag
