I really wish they would stay in their lofi, bedroom pop bag instead of whatever the fuck DDI RO RI was. This EP lacks so much in cohesion and the only songs I would save is Revenge and maybe Favorite Song. They need to stop rapping ASAP and let their voices be put to soothing pop beats and the occasional song like HANDS UP, cuz I think that works for them, as well. Their identity is nowhere, though.
heavily carried by the first song. 'it's me' kinda sucks and none of the songs are really that strong. i need the techno kpop trend to die cuz they don't even do it well. not for me.
1. wanna be startin somethin - absolute banger. the percussion goes crazy and i love that what they're pretty much saying s "dance to the music, i love dance, i am music dance song". its a relatively simple outline of a song but the composition really brings everything together. god bless you quincy jones. mama se mama se mama pussa.
2. baby be mine - not a personal favorite, but every banger album needs its slower, more forgettable tunes. that being said, its still a vibe.

1. Re-Hash: Not the strongest song on this album by any means, but the instruments set the tone quite well. Love the weird little synths (harpsichord preset??) towards the end. Kinda just repeats itself over and over but I like the drums and the feature. Fun!
2. 5/4: I love his accent, he's so silly. What a fucking gnarly guitar groove with this one. I really love the bombastically crunchy production and darker vibe. Introduces the fusion of genres we can expect for the rest of the ... read more
1. JUMP - I didn't love this when it came out but it definitely grew on me. I just wasn't used to that sound for them and I don't listen to Eurodance type music that often. That being said, it's still nothing compared to prime BLACKPINK. It's fun but gets repetitive and boring.
2. GO - Honestly the best song on this EP. I really liked the production and that chorus fuckin rips. I also liked the bridge a lot and the synths sounded really nice. Lyrics were whatever but I ... read more
