What a unique and interesting soundscape the boys created with this one. It reminded me a lot of the silent hill soundtracks or other like trip hop infused alt rock soundtracks from the 90s. The production is so unique as always, I just love some of the techniques and weird effects they use. Blood in the labyrinth has this crazy noise in the chorus when all the instruments come in, it's like a g-spot. I fw the progression too, none of the tracks feel too long and they move really well ... read more

my car broke down while I was listening to this so that sucks, but it's just as good as the debut. These guys just have a knack for really great songwriting and guitar tones and stuff. This album has the absolute standout track Panic Switch, my favorite song by them. The bassline is insane, and the chorus is so cacophonus and hits so hard. But I also really liked Substitution, that had a great chorus. Pretty strong!

Neurosis - An Undying Love for a Burning World

I was really ejoying this, and I'm not even really a metalhead or neurosis fan. I think what really gets me is the juxtaposition between the SUPER heavy loud sections that rip like a mother and sound so large, and the atmospheric quieter sections with droning grooves and beautiful production. They have a really great knack for both of these styles, which allows them to write 10 minute long songs without them getting boring. Also the opening screaming nummber is really funny

yeahhhhhhhh Peggy went into the deep end with this fake aura persona and turned the entire internet against him. makes sense, because this album really doesnt have a lot to offer. I was honestly expecting a normal peggy project in the beginning, but then he decided to switc the genre on every song, and when the songs are a minute and a half long it gives you crazy whiplash. There's also some truly awful beats that sound like a tiktok with the caption "i just made some BS"

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper (The Extended Cut)

I rviewwe the ambient EP on its own, so this review is just for learning to swim and melisa. Both pretty solid songs that don't add anything crazy. Vanisher is already pretty long so they prolly arent necesary, but both (especially melisa) are worth a listen and have some engagin pproduction, and foltronica style choices
