I truly believe black midi and Black Country, New Road are the Beatles and Beach Boys of my generation. Cavalcade feels like a direct response to For the first time with inclusions of horn sections and violins as Pet Sounds was a response to Rubber Soul or Sgt. Pepper's to Pet Sounds. I'm very excited to see where these two bands go from this point on and the artistry to expand further and further.
