Beyonce releases her most focused and most touching album to date. While she primarily sticks within the R&B/Pop influence, she successfully expands her pallet by connecting with a pinch of hard rock and country. Digging into tracks like "All night", "Sand Castles", and "Pray You Catch Me" prove that each of the 72 writers' contributions paid off. Beyonce did a fantastic job transitioning her personal conflicts into songs that can relate to the general listener. Although some tracks can feel slightly redundant, Beyonce has crafted an emotional experience about the struggles of love. This stands as one of the most important albums of 2016. So far, Lemonade has my vote for AOTY.
