Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Mezzanine feels like waking up in a cold sweat after lucid dreaming through your alarm. Its experimental production is a fever dream that walks a delicate tightrope of some of the strangest fusions I've ever heard. It's mesmerising.

100 gecs - 1000 gecs

This album is the embodiment of a toddler. It will piss you off by throwing a tantrum or drawing on the walls. Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia

I find bitterness a deeply complicated emotion. It's angry, openly hostile, resentful and Skinty Fia encapsulates all of it. I found this album in a very strange time in my life and its cohesive discontent really resonated with me. This album is packed with layers of anti-colonial irony and character that I don't think any album does better.

I find this album incredibly refreshing. It feels like a love-letter. Bridges' vocal performance is so sure of itself, I actually find it difficult to believe that this is his debut album. It manages to paint a picture of a cultural tenderness and idealism that we should all be striving towards. It's an album that encourages you to tell your crush you love them, forgive a loved one, and to take things a little less seriously. Aggressively chalant and full of personality.

Pet Shop Boys - Please

This feels like rollerskating on a pier with a boombox on your shoulder

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses

This is the angsty-est album I've ever listened to.
