After discovering them in 2020 with Fluid Existential Inversions, it has been a joy to listen to Intronaut discography and we shall begin with their 2006 debut, Void. Although for me, it doesn't stand out above other progressive sludge metal acts such as Neurosis, Intronaut manages to impress with some great technical abilities and this dark nihilistic sound which works well with the vocalist. However some songs drag a bit too long with some slightly dull moments and in turn the record feels slightly too thin but for 50 minutes it offers some great riffs and moments but not necessary as amazing as it could get.
