just found them off of soundcloud randomly and this is so good, no clue how they only have 2 monthly listeners. these songs seem to be an official release of their music that they've performed live since ~2006? there's some videos of their performances online

either way stumbling upon this was a really lucky accident, i don't usually listen to post-rock that much but i really liked these songs. would love to see if anyone is able to ... read more
the amount of originality within this album is equivalent to the 10th song in the tracklist: 000
feels like the soundtrack to a jrpg game
the blend between orchestral, rock and edm works so perfectly with so much attention to detail
absolutely beautiful, so underrated
i never really understood the appeal of briddim tbh
tynan's new album unfortunately suffers from all the pitfalls it attempts to avoid. i liked how the 2nd drop attempts to deviate more from the samey quarter note briddim that keeps on showing up in the 1st drops, but it ends up feeling quite disjointed as there wasn't any motivic development beforehand that makes the second drop make sense. the only things that ended up generating variation were the intro and the interlude in ... read more

super heavy yet super fun to listen to at the same time
so glad that forever&ever is finally back after two years of hiatus, i enjoyed vol. 1 a lot and was pleasantly surprised by how people were pushing the "death trap" microgenre towards more experimental territory.

classic dubplate but i can't seem to get into it unfortunately, sound design is kinda cool though
i believe in logic pro supremacy
dubstep flow and sound design is super glitchy and creative, this paired with influences from genres like math rock, jazz, hiphop make this such a fun listening experience
xuma absolutely cooked on this one, this debut album truly demonstrates what underground dubstep really should be about.
(also sorry for typing so much lmao i don't usually do this but there's a lot i wanna say about this album)
to be completely honest, i originally didn't have really high hopes for this album. don't get me wrong, xuma is an extremely talented producer and i've been enjoying many of their work. i was a bit worried that a majority of this album would ... read more
pretty decent riddim ep, first track was super dope but it got a bit repetitive towards the end
the flow of all of the tracks are great, but wish there were more tracks that experimented more with the flow to add to the listening experience
