i listened to "the blacker the berry" a few times before listening to the whole album in full, and i thought to myself, "surely the whole album isn't this good, right?" it really is that good. this truly is one of the greatest albums of all time. throughout the whole album i was fully immersed. i never wasn't paying attention to this thing. not to mention, this is probably objectively the most influential album of all time. incredible.
