Folklore is a project that I can really understand the appeal for. It's got great songwriting, pretty instrumentation, and a good enough amount of variety to keep it fairly interesting throughout. The problem for me lies with the melodies and style that Taylor Swift has. While I do not find it particularly bad, and there's nothing really directly wrong with it, the feelings that I feel like this album are trying to invoke in me just aren't there. I find a lot of the songs, especially in the middle, to be fairly boring at times, and the highlights are a bit few and far between. I'm really just not a big Taylor Swift fan, but I can absolutely understand why people are, as she is really talented, with the songwriting especially being a huge highlight!
