I respect this album a TON, for being the pioneer of a genre that I've really come to love, and one that has always really resonated with me and that some of my favorite smaller EDM artists have derived from (CloudNone and Direct, to name 2 that come to mind), however I don't think the older style of garage and chill dubstep this album has doesn't work for me as much compared to how the genre has evolved. For me, while the atmosphere and production on display is really quite impressive and well put together, the melodies just either don't hit very well, or don't feel very pronounced. I can definitely see how this would be an aspect some people love, but I think for me I prefer the more melodic structure some artists have taken the genre, rather than the atmospheric structure this album has.

That being said, this album is just the perfect vibe for wandering a street at night or driving down the road, and I think for everything that it wants to accomplish, it excels tenfold. It's kind of just a case of a "not for me" album, that while I still liked, I didn't find myself loving, however I do think the second half heavily outclasses the first half, and I actually found myself finally getting into the vibe after In McDonalds.
