Simulation

I really love this album, and I really love Virtual Riot as a whole, but I gotta be real with myself on this album. This doesn't hit every time, and is riddled with an immense amount of problems, a plethora of overdone EDM styles, plenty of bland dubstep and color bass, and just doesn't hit the same as it once did back when it released. Times have changed, and this album hasn't kept up the absolute best.

HOWEVER, I still hold a huge soft spot for this album, and no amount of its problems or issues will make me stop enjoying what VR brings to the table here at his best. I respect this album for having no repeat drops, and it really does feel like VR threw tons of ideas at the wall, which would normally bother me, but it all fits really nicely into the albums theming and structure. Is it a perfect album? Not even close, it's borderline ok at best, but there's still so much charm for me to love here nonetheless.
