I've been somewhat skeptical of underscores for a while, despite having a few songs saved from her, mostly just due to the fact that hyperpop wasn't my thing. That being said, I listened to the deluxe tracks on this album with a friend, and was absolutely WOWED by them (I think they're all great, saved them all), so with that info I decided to try out this album, and also provide a mini review for the deluxe.

This was a surprising hit for me! This album provides a crazy amount of whiplash in its styles, going from slow more emotional moments to VERY high energy songs, with the vocal styles varying allll over the place. As a result, I feel like there are parts of this album I really like, and then parts of this album I kinda just don't care too much for, and those parts can sometimes drag it down for me. That being said, there's a lot heart and care put into this, and I can say with certainty that its quite fun to listen to! Pretty overall solid!

(Deluxe Tracks Review: The deluxe tracks are really good! I think they features some of the best songs I've heard from underscores yet, with a wild amount of variety on songs that I really found myself digging. My favs on it are CCTV and Stupid, but all 4 are really quite nice, and in my opinion some of the best tracks on the deluxe or OG album combined. CCTV specifically is one of the best songs I've heard all year, stunning track)

Favorite Songs: Uncanny long arms, Locals (Girls like us), Geez louise, Shoot to kill, kill your darlings
Least Favorite Songs: Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, You don't even know who I am
