Easily one of my favourite projects from 2023. Lean Beef Patty is a top 5 song of 2023 without a doubt. Jpeg and Danny work together fantastically on this album, both of them have really unique voices and that vibe fits the album very nicely. There are too many highlights on this album to even count so i wont list them but i definitely suggest this album to Anyone trying to discover some experimental hiphop albums. Overall one of the best experimental hiphop albums ever made (yes, of all time).
Im going to be completely honest, I did not enjoy this album. Dont even know what to write tbh
Vol 2 is a step up from Vol 1 in my opinion. It has "ANNIE" and "GOD, MY BIG HOMIE" which Are some of my favourite tracks from this year. The tracks are relatively simple and lack depth but the songs are short so i wasnt expecting alot of good storytelling/lyrics. This EP is only 17 minutes but Jev managed to fit 7 very solid tracks into it. Overall i enjoyed this EP but i wont revisit it alot due to its length.
Dont really know what to say other than the fact that the EP is good but it does have its flaws.
Overall an enjoyable project but its not for everyone.
Randomly heard of this dude on tiktok from "Wheres the confetti" and Im a huge fan now. Overall the album is really solid for a debut but the tracks get repetative at some points.
