JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
NR

Making your least experimental album so far, and calling it "Experimental Rap" is definitely a choice...

Television - Marquee Moon
95

I don't think I ever saw an album as consistent in it's greatness as Marquee Moon. Huge potential for a 10 when it settles comfortably into my rotation.

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
55

Album in and of itself isn't that bad.
What killed my outlook on this type of music is every single artist that has followed the trail paved by My Chemical Romance.
It's what I call "cringe rock".
Nevertheless The Black Parade is a very good "cringe rock" album.

The Cure - Wish
95

This album feels like coming back to the light after sitting in the dark for way too long.

Pixies - Doolittle
95

Album as addictive as heroine.

The Clash - London Calling
95

I'd call this album a collection of melodies that everyone knows in some shape or form. It's really incredible, it feels like half of the musical world took inspritation from this record.

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
85

The bloated length is what holds back this album. Which is ironic, considering this is one of the better long albums I've heard.

Joy Division - Transmission
100

Ashamed to admit, but if it wasn't for the Control 2007, I wouldn't know that this song was even a thing. I didn't know I missed out on such a generational track.

The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me
80

How can a collection of lovesongs be so disgusting, yet so danceable

The Cure - Pornography
90

For 3 days after the first listen I was wondering why I feel so dreadful

sombr - I Barely Know Her
65

This is the biggest mixed bag if I ever seen one.
On the one hand, some songs create "somber" atmosphere, have relatable lyrics and quite surprising structures hardly found in contemporary pop.
On the other hand other songs evoke "what if Tame Impala was singing The Neighborhood's lyrics", with obvious tiktok hit baiting sprinkled on top.

The talent is certainly there, but unfortunately it's no secret that mr. Boose's efforts are aimed at an audience mainly ... read more

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
95

Bloody red sunset and pink undulatus clouds

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
100

An album that says more by saying less.

The Weeknd - Kiss Land
75

Sadly, many songs overstay their welcome

KAYTRANADA - AIN'T NO DAMN WAY!
75

Solid, but too safe. Just some good tunes flowing into each other nicely. Lacks any standout track and that's what's holding it back.

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong
65

I like the songs a lot. But it doesn't hold a certain "uniqueness" for me to keep me engaged. I liked the experience of listening to it but I probably won't be going back.

¥$ - VULTURES 2
15

This gave me brain aunerysm

Edit: Giving few points cause River is bearable now

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
95

Never thought I will have a spiritual experience while listening to Metal Rap album

Charli xcx - BRAT
95

Should be called Scaring The Bros

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
90

Basically lesbian Igor
