This outstanding album, like all the Cure's best music, runs on its own brash logic, making a virtue of its emotional polarities.
Standing on the edge of a cliff, caught between the allure of the vast, unknown ocean below and the safety of solid ground behind, comes close to evoking the essence of how Wish sounds.
The Cure seems to have lightened up more than ever before. This is not to say that Wish is downright cheery; that would be expecting too much from a group that almost single-handedly invented gothic rock.
This album still amazes me every time I hear it. I love Apart so much. Trust is such a sleeper song. A Letter to Elise has my favorite guitar solo of all time, and To Wish Impossible Things just seems to be my life song. Such a powerful track list of music that people don’t make anymore
REVIEWING ALL OFFICIAL STUDIO ALBUMS BY THE CURE: ALBUM NINE (WISH)
Welp, it's been a while since I did a review of my favorite band of all time, The Cure, so I'll keep this short and sweet in the form of a little diddy I wrote, it goes something like this... ehem...
I don't care if track 3's blue
Track 12's grey and track 1 too
Track 5 I don't care about you
It's track 4 (and 7) I'm in love!!!!!

Clássico absoluto dos anos 90!!!
O The Cure equilibra melancolia e explosões de euforia com uma honestidade emocional única.
Robert Smith entrega algumas de suas composições mais diretas, intensas e vulneráveis.
An absolutely beautiful album. I was a little concerned that I wouldn't like it considering this was the longest album I've listened to in recent times, but it was quite the experience.
