fakemink - The Boy who cried Terrified .
70

Blow The Speaker is generational

Nine Vicious - EMOTIONS
79

Uncanny valley trap music.

Nine Vicious leans even heavier into straight up weirdness and absurdity on EMOTIONS, a bloated albeit impressive statement from one of the underground’s most enigmatic figures.

Edit: 74-79

Front half is genuinely so goated like holy shit

Yeat - ADL
54

Sure, ADL is handily Yeat’s most cleanly polished body of work to date. It’s a shame that it comes at the expense of the chaotic and unpredictable energy that made his previous albums so exciting.

A lot of the material here just feels painfully safe for an artist who has been so sonically uncompromising in the past

Kanye West - BULLY
60

Damn this new Kanye is… interesting.

I mean it’s his best album since Donda, far better than the slop that was V1 and V2.

There are glimpses of OG Kanye, however the project as a whole is still quite messy and scattershot. Regardless, I’m just pleasantly surprised at how not shit this is

Fcukers - Ö
85

This fcuks so hard

Earl Sweatshirt - Live Laugh Love
86

I love this unc era for him

Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist - Voir Dire
79

I wish I liked this more, still a great project, nothing that moves me as much as Earls solo work tho

Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
87

There’s a weirdly charming dejectedness to earls performances on this record, equal parts grimy and vulnerable

Earl Sweatshirt - Doris
85

How the fuck did he make this so young

Searows - Death in the Business of Whaling
78

Its kinda is phoebe bridgers reheated nachos but man, i'd be lying if I said this record wasn't filled with moments of jaw dropping beauty

underscores - U
85

Underscores prove that there is still so much uncovered ground within the world of pop music

Boldy James & The Alchemist - The Price of Tea in China
87

This is insanely good, Alchemist and Boldy are both in top form here

Frog - The Count
67

this goes raw

Nettspend - early life crisis
63

wegonebeok’s production on BAFK is far superior to some of the slop on this project.

I appreciate Nett going in a more focused, aggressive direction but it does often feel like he’s blatantly ripping off Che and Osamason’s recent works. Some bangers tho but overall quite a messy project

Edit: 40-63

Second listen and damn this actually has a lot of great tracks. I still feel like it is a less interesting version of some recent rage albums but traphouse2016 is one of the best ... read more

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
87

*deluxe only rating*

Might be the best rage artist out rn, tied with Che

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
73

It’s good. Nothing much else, just good
