Man, this one was really back heavy. Most of the early tracks were kinda boring and a little pretentious but that second half was so fuckin memorable.
Kinda sounds like if you mixed their debut with 'The King Is Dead.' Very folky but Colin's voice actually sounds really good here. Definitely their best in a long time
i really dont understand the hate for this single. I dont care if its not as good as the original Joni Mitchell version, the beat is still a bop. Fuck, Village Voice made it sound like Counting Crows burnt down their office and stuck reviewers' heads on pikes
Kinda sounds like it was remixed by maroon 5. Not necessarily a bad mix but it cleans up the sound too much and takes most of the rock out
This is like eating a chocolate moose with chocolate sauce while drinking chocolate milk. Sometimes that shit's good tho
Kinda reminds me of 'the bends' and 'songs about jane.' Every song is insanely catchy. Definitely collective soul's best album
Holy fuck, this is loud, even the album cover is loud. Has that '80s sound' without the annoying ass vocals
The wanting comes in waves reminds me of those car commercials you'd see on the fucking weather channel
Fuck it, this one's not bad. Its by far their least pretentious one too
This one's kinda underrated honestly. There's some real shit on here but most of the other tracks are fine. Eminem can't sing for shit on 'Stronger Than I Was' tho
