Once this album settles, it really clicked for me and things that I first felt were flaws became the album’s biggest strengths. The production is very polished and almost empty at times. Bought this so quickly. Probably my aoty so far pretty easily. It's so chaotic and raw. Even though the majority of the lyrics are in French, I can still feel the pure anger or hatred oozing out. The band is not afraid to express their burning, haunting view of the world. Such creepy, scrappy production to pair with the vocal performance. It feels like someone going mad and spiraling over a world that has wronged them with its horrors.

Super impressive album. There's moments of peace and horror, often a blend of both. One of those albums you don't return to much but appreciate every time you do. Especially love when the songs get intense and there's plenty of really solid buildups and releases. Every track is doing something and doesn't have filler tracks. Again, don't see myself returning back much but it's still incredible and so enjoyable to listen to with all the care and density packed in.

Think he should've just released the three ambient tracks as a separate ep and leave them unincluded from the album. They're very grand but I don't know if they do quite enough with their length. The only one I kept coming back to was ii a noit which was so calming. Gives this sitting on a dock at dusk fiddling around with a guitar while reflecting on life vibe.
