Some really good songs on here that give that true nu-metal vibe; but also some duds (sickf_ck is one of the cringiest cuts ive heard in a while). Its sometimes really glossy and over the top like im listening to dayseeker or some adjacent band; but the highlights like coldmetalkiss, STFA and Anywhere but here stand out a lot in their melodic approach with digital artifacts and early 2000's production aesthetics.

I have a softspot for this because my partner loves this type of music a lot and it makes me think of them. The songs are surprisingly super beautiful lyrically and it blends folklore and ska/ skatepunk together really well.

Dont remember this album being so mid since i used to love this as a teenager; and nostalgia does really impact how objective i can be but objectively this album isb't all that. the mixes clip so fucking much and the lyrics are really cringy. Still the instrumentals and some songs go crazy but not sure how he got away with mixing the record so hot
