The whole gimmick of the songs transitioning seamlessly could have been done so much better. It feels really forced at times especially between S.T.A.R. Child and Electric Moves where they try and it just doesn't work at all.
And the lyrics are pretty cheesy at times but its hard to criticize that as it does very much seem intentional.

Such a fun album! Can't Tell You Why easily the highlight.

I was completely unfamiliar with this band and heard Gold Guns Girls in Nimona so gave it a listen. Very solid album.

Like it's not bad just boring. Definitely got some bangers though.

Surprisingly like not bad given that it's AJR. But The Big Goodbye annoys me in ways I didn't know possible from that god awful start.
